| Property Purchase Check List |
Before signing an Offer & Acceptance
- Check the property walls for cracks or dampness.
- Check that all plumbing, electrical and gas appliances are working.
- Look under furniture, behind wall units and inside cupboards for any damage.
- Check that all the doors and windows work properly.
- If there are security doors and windows check that there is a full set of keys.
- If there have been renovations, check that the seller has council approval.
- If the property has a security alarm, check that the seller has all the relevant operating details.
- Check whether the property is connected to sewer system.
- Check that all septic tanks have been properly decommissioned.
- Lastly check that you fully understand the offer and acceptance document you are signing, it is a binding contract.
